Merchandise Returns

All returns have a restocking charge of 10% of the value of the merchandise for any reason other than error by Altamont employees. No returns after 30 days.

 Domestic Mail Order
We will take Visa, Master Card, and C.O.D. (Fee applied on C.O.D.)

International Mail Order
Payment is required to be wire transfer.

Returned Checks
There is a $25.00 fee for returning checks.

Shipping Information

We will ship out orders by Priority Mail unless requested by a different carrier, i.e. UPS or Federal Express. We try to process orders on the day they are received, and will be shipped out the next day.


We do not require that you have your package insured, however, if your package is lost or damaged during transit we are not responsible for covering the cost of the loss or damage. The US Post Office has insurance available at an extra cost. UPS will automatically insure up to $100.00, but there will be a fee to cover insurance on packages above $100.00 in value.
